okay, so this is my first post in FOR-FUCKING-EVER.
dont get excited either because i hate this bloody thing!
however, i was looking through old photos and found this. so im gonna do it all in one. here we go…
1. Bon Jovi - Wanted Dead or Alive
this song always reminds me of being a little kid and singing along to it when my uncle would listen to it. its absolutely amazing. end of.
2. Brooke - Every Night
i can hardly listen to this song any more for that very reason. we met because of the band (well, when they were winch house anyways) and i used to love coming home after spending an amazing night with her and listening to this song.
3. SL2 - On A Ragga Tip
a classic rave anthem, i was brought up by 2 ravers. you figure it out.
4. Sabrepulse - Forget
people who know this song know that it will make you instantly forget all of your problems. this song is the most beautiful song i have ever heard and for the last 6 or so years of my life, it has helped stop me from losing my fucking head when i needed it the most. i have thanked sabrepulse many a time for this song.
5. Memphis May Fire - Losing Sight ft. Danny Worsnop
i chose this answer as it has been stuck in my head for the last couple of weeks. as soon as danny comes in with his verse, you know ill be singing along with it.
6. Nightcore - Dam Dadi Doo
this song reminds me of pre-2008 times with my bros down Woodcote park. drinking vodka every day after school and not getting drunk and smoking the most steady amount of cigs ever. but what really mattered the most to be then is how tight of a group of friends we were and still are. we may not be as close now, but fucking hell, those guys will always be my best friends… by the way, we used to listen to this song when we were drunk.
7. Enter Shikari - Meltdown
if it wasnt for my ex, i wouldnt be close to being into enter shikari’s latest stuff, and this song just reminds me of sweating my nads off walking to peoples houses to chill in the summer.
8. You Me At Six - Nasty Habits
okay, so these days i realise that she wasnt even close to being my “first love”, but at the time, i thought she was so yeah. basically, when i was, lets say, unfaithful, she kept posting a paraphrased version of the chorus up everywhere. so… yeah… thats why it reminds me of her.
9. You Me At Six - The Rumour
i dont know what it is about this song, but whenever i hear the “hold your hands, into the air” part, i just get this unmistakable feeling that whatever is wrong with me, whatever i feel like ive fucked up on, wherever i am, someone else is feeling just as shit as i do. this song just makes me feel like im being overcome with empathy. its a powerful thing.
10. Asking Alexandria - To The Stage
at the moment, i feel i have a lot of favourite bands. but these guys just do it right. rock & roll themed metalcore. i couldnt ask for more than that. I chose to the stage because it always makes me want to party and get really fucked up. ROCK & ROLL!
11. KISS - God Gave Rock & Roll to You
i think this is my favourite movie, as i didnt really have to think hard out of the many that i class my “favourite movies” but its from the very end of Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey.
12. Remembrance - Voices
okay, this may be my band. but this is probably the deepest song ive written for us. lyrically, its another breakup song. instrumentally, its way more than that. for the last 5 months, my head has been all over the place and ive started getting very drunk nearly every day to keep those problems out of my mind. i do keep them all to one side to sort them out at a later time, but its not really something i can keep away that easy. to quote a different song of ours “I’ll do it all with a smile on my face”
13. Dragonforce - Through The Fire & The Flames
i used to have this friend who moved over here from South Korea, he was absolutely amazing. such a nice dude and chilled out too. me, him & the guys used to love playing guitar hero too… and this guy used to love trying out through the fire & the flames on expert. its a shame that hes moved back to SK, but none of us guys have forgotten him!

i dont even feel like i have to explain why i love singing along to this song, but okay… this song has an amazing vocal line and great transitions. i love singing along to it and nailing every scream & every lyric motherfucker.

man, this song always gets me. i fucking love it. if youve heard it, youll know what i mean.
17. Lady GaGa - Born This Way (Skrillex Remix)
its not that it makes me wanna dance, its just that it always makes me have a gnarly bassface and major angry claws.
18. Winch House - Sweet Taste of Summer
another one to do with my ex. its not that i cant listen to it because of her, its that i just hardly ever listen to these guys anymore. however, when a song of theirs does come on, i listen to the whole album on repeat for the rest of the day

mr. homesweet hooked me up with this one after our show in leeds. if you’re reading this, nice one tom!
21. Baz Luhrmann - Everybody’s Free to Wear Sunscreen
this is just my favourite song in the world. end of. i want it played at my funeral. this song is just the kind of thing which makes everyone realise that its all gonna be okay, which is exactly what i like to reassure everyone of.
22. Blink 182 - Every Time I Look For You
yeah, this was like the first night i ever spent with my ex. we got drunk, she put on blink 182. that was a score in itself, but she sung to me then we fucked…. bonus.
23. Avicii - Levels
i fucking hate it.
24. Skrillex - Kyoto
yeah, when this comes on in town (or when it used to) we went nuts.
25. Van Halen - Jump
van halen are hands down one of my favourite bands and jump was the first song by them which i could class as my favourite.
